Hi, I'm Katarzyna with the Amazing Paper Grace - Creative Encouragement Community Creative Team. I teach the step-by-step Sweet Spring Basket Tutorial in the Amazing Paper Grace Encouragement Group. To create I used:
Other Supplies:
- Double sided tape
- White card 10 15/16" X 10 15/16".
- ScrapBoys - Butterflay Meadow paper pads
- Cotton fabric
1. Cut a piece of paper/card 10 15/16" X 10 15/16"
2. Score down at 3 13/16", 7 1/8"
3. Flip paper around and do the same (3 13/16", 7 1/8")
4. Cut along the two scored lines on one side of the card until you meet the horizontal scored line.
5. Turn around the card and do the same as step 4
6. Out of the thin square die that are given in the supplies, cut out four squares.
11 1/2" X 7/8" but do it in the same paper as you did on step 6.
8. Glue the coloured strip onto the white strip.
9. On the base, Stick the squares on the 4 corners of the base and leave a bit of space on the corners so you could see a bit of white.
10. Fold the side panels and bring them together.
11. At 1/2" from the top, glue the strip into both of the side pieces (shown above)
12. Glue the corners into the side pieces (picture above) and repeat with the other side
13. My favourite part: Decorate It!!!
I decorated it with a handmade rose made out off cotton fabric and decorated it with Crushed Ice Sprinkes.
