Cut and emboss cardboard for the lid according to the template. Cut off a triangle in each corner as shown below.
It should look like this:
Cut and emboss cardboard for the lid according to the template. Cut off a triangle in each corner as shown below and cut a square which is 4 15/16" x 4 15/16" and 2 pieces from designer paper using the large base from the S5-491 die.
Cut two full circles into half and fold from the center and glue on all corners of the lid.
For the top of the lid cut a mat from designer paper measuring 5 6/8” × 5 6/8”, adhere it on the lid.
Cut another mat from designer paper measuring 5 2/8” × 5 2/8”, adhere it on luxe gold cardstock which is 1/8 of an inch bigger on all four sides. Adhere it on the lid using dimensional tape.
Cut 3 decorative pieces from designer paper and 3 from Luxe Gold cardstock using the large decorative die from the set. Layer Gold Cardstock die cut and designer die cut together, slightly offset so the gold peeks through. Trim 2 die cuts as shown and adhere them on the corners. Now glue decorative die cut on top as pictured.
Stick 1 circle with the red above the gold on to the little gold sticking out square for the lid using 3d foam pads and then the 2 remaining circles, cut them in half (shown below) and cut the middle square of the circles (split in 2).
Place 3d Foam pads under the 4 things that we just did and stick it onto the lid.
Decorate it with the handmade fabric flowers and butterflies but stick them with hot glue.
Make Along Units are available throughout the entire month with Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team Members. Each member will be showing you step by step how to create something fabulous with Amazing Paper Grace Dies.
